Patrick Mears Bio

I am measuring Dissolved Inorganic Carbon (DIC) aboard the Palmer on a 12-hour shift.   I hail originally from Texas, and work for the University of Miami as part of the Ocean Carbon Group at AOML so you can bet I had to go find new cold weather gear for this trip.  This is my 6^th research cruise as part of the GO-SHIP/ CLIVAR repeat hydrography cruises and is by far my longest stint on the ocean.  Looking forward to spending these 67day with a great set of coworkers.
